The Everyday [not-so-green] Green Smoothie

With spring upon us, I am getting excited to begin drinking smoothies again for breakfast each morning! Now, I am not the biggest fan of a smoothie that tastes like kale or spinach so here is my go to recipe to make a Green Smoothie that does not taste like your front yard!

The Everyday-not-so-green Green Smoothie

The Everyday-not-so-green Green Smoothie:

1 tbsp Water
1 tbsp Chia Seeds
2 tbsp Ningxia Red (optional)
1 Banana
1 Granny Smith Green Apple
YOUR CHOICE! Mango, pineapple, blueberries, strawberries, pear (frozen or fresh, about a hand full)
1 hand full of spinach, kale, romaine (I prefer spinach or romaine, they will have less of a punch)

Blend together and wah-llah!!! A sweet & delicious but also green & super healthy smoothie! No need for yogurt, ice cream, other creams, sugars, the fruit will give you all of the sugar necessary and yogurt is just a filler!
